14/03/2018Wide Games / Bonfire This Wednesday we are meeting at Dorneywwod Scout Camp near Burnham Beeches. Meet at the camp at 7.15pm and collect at 9pm. We'll be playing some night time wide games and other activities in the woods. Afterwards we'll light a big campfire and cook hotdogs. Please use Dorney wood road , from the top of Burnham ( go passed road block sign campsite entrance on the right ) Things to bring: Warm Coat Hat Gloves Torch Parents are welcome to stay and help with the fire. 21/03/2018Swim Fun This Wednesday 21st March we are taking a troop trip to Coral Reef Water world Bracknell. The cost of entry is being paid from Group funds, so is FREE for all scouts. We will meet at the Water world and aim to be ready to swim at 7.15pm. Please try and arrive in good time, it's a good 30mins drive from Maidenhead. Collection is 9pm from the same venue. Address is: Coral Reef Water world, Nine Mile Ride, Bracknell, RG12 7JQ Note, there will be a car park charge if you are staying. Things to bring • Scout Uniform or Group t-shirt and Necker. • Swimming Costume • Towel • new style £1 coin or trolley token for the lockers. The leaders will not be swimming. The scouts will be unaccompanied and will need to abide by the Water world's lifeguards instructions and rules. They need to be competent swimmers to attend this event, no flotation aids or arm bands are allowed.
